Joel has been Digital and Technology Director at Azzurri Group since 2019, and, concurrently since 2022, founder and CTO of Openr, an OPEN platform for data and AI driven innovation in hospitality. Prior to that he spent ten years in diverse roles at Sainsbury’s, including buyer, assistant to Justin King, store manager, senior product owner and head of strategy and ways of working.
