Tom founded the virtual clay shooting activity bar Clays, with sites at Canary Wharf and the City of London. Snellock began his career in green energy, where he was one of Limejump’s first employees. It was during his time at Limejump that Snellock had the initial idea for Clays, whilst visiting a client’s solar farm in Wiltshire. The client also owned a country goods store and had bought a target shooting simulator for guests to try out. After trying it out for himself, and hearing how popular it was with groups of young people, a wild idea was born and a business plan was started. With the help of old friends and encouraging family members, Clays gained the support of over 60 initial investors. Clays is gearing up to open a third site in Birmingham New Street later this year. With further sites planned for 2025, Tom has international ambitions for the brand, with Clays’ IPs secured globally.
